Moss Removal from Paths, Patios, Driveways and Gutters
Moss makes paths and steps slippery, fills the joints between blocks and slabs, and blocks gutters. I'm Jake, and I remove it across Hythe, Folkestone, Romney Marsh, Dover, Deal, Ashford and the villages in between.

What I clear moss from
- ◆ Paths and steps
- ◆ Patios
- ◆ Driveways and block paving. Joints are re-sanded where needed.
- ◆ Gutters, cleared from the ground with a gutter vac
How it's done
I clean the surface with the right method and pressure for the material, clear the moss out of the joints, and rinse everything away. Where it suits the surface, a follow-up treatment can help slow it growing back, and I'll tell you if I think it's worth doing.
I don't currently clean roofs, but I do clear the moss that falls from roofs into gutters.
Common questions
Will the moss come back?
Eventually, especially on shady paths. Keeping on top of it once a year is easier than leaving it to build up.
Can you remove moss from sandstone?
Yes, with care, because sandstone can be damaged by too much pressure. See my guide on pressure washing sandstone.
Do you do roofs?
Not at the moment.
