Patio Cleaning

Patio Cleaning in Hythe, Folkestone & South East Kent

Patios respond differently to pressure and treatments depending on the material. Coastal Clean Exterior Cleaning adjusts the method to the surface so the cleaning is thorough where it needs to be and controlled where it needs to be.

What we cover

  • Sandstone paving
  • Concrete slabs
  • Porcelain paving
  • Block paving used as a patio surface
  • Other suitable patio materials
  • Algae, moss and organic build-up

How the work is carried out

  1. 01

    Identify the Material

The paving type, jointing, drainage and any planting are considered before starting.

  2. 02

    Choose the Method

Pressure, flow and any suitable treatments are selected for that specific material.

  3. 03

    Clean Carefully

The patio is cleaned using an approach that suits the surface — not one-pressure-fits-all.

  4. 04

    Rinse and Tidy

Loose material is rinsed and collected as part of the finish.

  5. 05

    Re-sand Block Paving as Standard

Where the patio is block paving with sand-filled joints, fresh kiln-dried jointing sand is worked into the joints once the paving has dried — included as standard in the quoted price. This does not apply to sandstone, porcelain, concrete slabs or paving with fixed pointing.

Honest limitations

  • · Weathered patios may not return to their original colour.
  • · Some staining may be permanent — this is explained honestly before starting.
  • · Cracked, loose or broken slabs cannot be repaired by cleaning.
  • · Some jointing materials are not suitable for high-pressure cleaning.
