Privacy Policy
Who I am
Coastal Clean Exterior Cleaning is an owner-operated business. I am the data controller for personal information collected through this website and quote enquiries.
What I collect
I collect the information you provide when requesting a quote or contacting me — for example your name, address or postcode, phone number, email address, photographs of the area to be cleaned and any details you share about the work required.
How I use it
Personal information is used only to respond to enquiries, prepare written quotations, carry out agreed work, arrange visits, take payment and keep basic records of work completed. I do not sell or share your information for marketing purposes.
Photos sent with the enquiry form
Adding photos to the enquiry form is optional (up to 10). They are used only to assess the work and prepare your quote. Before uploading, your device resizes each photo and saves it as a new JPEG copy; that copy does not carry over the original file's hidden details, such as where the photo was taken. Photos are stored privately — they are not published or visible to other visitors. I am sent an email with private links to view them, and those links stop working after 7 days. Photos from an enquiry that was started but never sent are kept for at least 48 hours. Older unsent photos are removed in batches when a new photo upload is started.
Who I share it with
I only share your information where necessary — for example with the website hosting and email services that store and deliver enquiries for me, with payment providers to process payment, or where required by law.
How long I keep it
Enquiry and customer information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal or tax obligations, and handle any follow-up questions.
Your rights
You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where I no longer need it. Please contact coastalclean.uk@gmail.com or 07518 383 675.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect the information I hold.
Updates
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version is always shown on this page.
